Upcoming Retreats
There is a strong Sufi tradition of participating in spiritual retreat, dedicated periods of time away from everyday life, diving deep into spiritual teachings and practice. Sirat-i Inayat typically offers four in-person yearly retreats, some of which Sára leads, some of which are led by a group of Sirat-i Inayat teachers. Retreats are an opportunity to nourish the soul, develop friendships with fellow spiritual seekers, deepen one’s relationship with wisdom teachings, and strengthen the spirit.
Cherag Retreat and Ordination
December 5th – 8th, 2025, Sunshine Mountain Lodge, CO
Registration is open for all Cherag Candidates, Ordained Cherags, and Sirajs.
An enriching opportunity for Cherags (Interfaith Sufi Ministers) and candidates (those in training to be Cherags) to steep in spiritual practice, conversation, camaraderie, community, and inspiration!
Our retreat will include an ordination ceremony for the friends who are completing their Cherag training after two years of preparation.

Registration Cost is $395.
This covers all lodging and meals. Additional donations to express gratitude to Sára for her facilitation and leadership are welcome and not required.

We strive to keep retreats affordable and welcoming. Due to our commitments to our retreat centers and caterers, we hold the following policy for refunds if a registered participant needs to cancel:
30 days before a retreat, we offer a full refund, minus $50 administrative fee.
30 to 15 days before a retreat, we offer 50% refund.
14 or fewer days before a retreat, we cannot offer a refund because all the fees have been committed to paying for space and food.
